Welcome to Mary’s Floral: a unique place to get your home decor and gift needs. My name is Mary Munnings and I have been designing for over 35 years. I enjoy working with natural materials, cotton stems (bolls) and finding creative uses for found objects. My latest obsession is with cotton stems, nests and burlap. I just love the ‘farmhouse’ look. My designs incorporate many re-purposed items like glassware, frames and natural products. I create out of my home studio and my work can be found at SnickerDoodles, marysfloral.net, Etsy.com/shop/Marysfloral, Facebook.com/Marysfloral1, and at many area craft shows throughout the year.
Look for my space at the up in coming new home décor store Our Moments in Time in Holly Springs; a great place that showcases local artists.
I began sewing in 1997 making quilts for myself and as gifts. My sewing projects have evolved after having children, wanting to make them quality items that I know would last. I have gradually added embroidery to my repertoire, and I love personalizing projects.
- I started by sewing children’s products as I loved the idea of giving a handmade, personal gift. I like to encourage imaginative play for children with my super hero capes for girls or boys. Let your child pretend to be their favorite super hero or have them design their own super hero so they can run around the house or outside while using their imagination.
- My youngest son loved to look out the window but he could never quite see out. I decided to make him a pillow that he could use as stool to look out of the windows. He started to carry it around the house and uses it as a comfortable place to lay his head while reading.
- With the passing of my mother-in-law I added another aspect to my sewing, memory pillows. I wanted something around the house that my boys could remember their grandma by. I can create these pillows using any clothing item that is memorable for you, and I can add your loved ones name or a saying to the pillow as well.
- For Christmas in 2014, my husband gave me an embroidery machine. I can now add embroidery to towels, shirts, baskets, bags, and pillows. I enjoy giving teachers and friends personalized ornaments during the holidays.
- Do you have a pile of T- shirts, jerseys, sweatshirts or baby clothes that you like, but don’t know what to do with them? T-Shirt quilts are a great way to keep memories in one place. These quilts can be made from sorority, fraternity, race and favorite shirts or even baby clothes.
Luggage Tags, Bag Tags
- When traveling, I have always had a hard time finding my luggage. All those black bags look the same. I decided to make my own! These bag tags can be embroidered with 1 initial or all 3 initials. They also make a great addition to your child’s book bag so they can find theirs at school!
If you have any other sewing projects, I would love to help you out. I love starting new projects to help you customize a gift for family or friends.

About Park Lane Jewelry
Founded in Chicago in 1955 by Arthur and Shirley LeVin, Jewels by Park Lane defines `The American Dream`. As the world`s leading direct sales jewelry party plan company, Park Lane proudly offers exceptional quality jewelry that is backed by an unconditional lifetime guarantee.
My Park Lane Story
I was introduced to Park Lane Jewelry in 2013 by friend from church. She invited me to go to this thing called a ‘Quarter Auction’. Well – I won 2 pairs of earrings and saw some of the most beautiful jewelry I’d seen in ages. My friend introduced me to her sister – a Park Lane Fashion Director and I was hooked. I attended many more special events and purchased many more pieces outside of the events. I was – and still am- always amazed at how much I got for such a small amount of money.
In the second half of 2015 after having an expensive surgery, expensive kitchen water damage & repairs AND a shattered car window – none of which were fully covered by insurance, I knew I needed a way to make a little more income.
That same Fashion Director – now a Sr. Division Manager is still my ‘Park Lane Person’. I’ve been to many more quarter auctions and special events and even had a few of my own. She even helped me find the perfect jewelry ensemble for my daughter’s wedding!
She shared with me the unbeatable buying program for guests, the amazing & ridiculously generous hostess program and the outstanding Fashion Director`s income & perks – like free trips and a Mercedes! Add those to the jewelry I had to have and a really simple show demo and I knew I could do this – I could be a part of Park Lane! I was impressed with the company’s values and work ethic – and of course how they reward their customers, hosts and their representatives.
I love showing our beautiful jewelry to everyone. Whether you are classic, trendy, bold or traditional in your jewelry style, I’ve got something for you. I am so excited to be helping my clients and hostesses understand all they stand to gain by our programs in a fun, interactive way! Please contact me to host your very own, very fun ‘dress up party‘!
Afternoon Owl Designs specializes in originally designed hand crocheted cowls, scarves and accessories! All items are handmade by me in my smoke-free home!
My name is Rebecca, and I come from a long history of crafty ladies. My great grandmother tatted and crocheted. My grandmother sewed, and my mom… well, she can tat, knit, crochet and paint. They have all inspired me in their own ways to stay focused and learn a craft of my own.
I surround myself and my workspace with lovely things they have made or used in the past. From this inspiration, I began to create my own ideas. I taught myself how to crochet, left-handed. I fell in love. From there I began developing my own patterns and started selling on Etsy and at juried craft shows.
In addition to being a part of the Etsy universe, I am also an IT Specialist, a wife and a mommy. This all makes me a very busy, but very happy little bee.

I’m a mom of 2 young adults, a wife, a daughter, and a business consultant “by day”. I have a very short commute to my home office … so I treasure how Origami Owl has given me connections with other women that I wouldn’t be able to have otherwise!
I Love What I Do
My favorite part of being an Independent Designer is being able to help others create lockets that “tell their story.”
Whether they are creating a locket to reflect their family, their hobbies, their career or to honor special people in their life, it has been an honor to hear their stories and to be a part of that process.
Another reason that I love what I do is that I have the opportunity to mentor and help others begin their amazing career with Origami Owl.
I would love to help you design something special! Tell me, what’s your story?

Threads Worldwide is a campaign for positive change in the world. Through fair trade we envision a world where all have the opportunity to thrive; where education leads to empowerment and global connections are formed through women in the US supporting women in developing countries. Threads Worldwide sells fair trade jewelry and accessories handmade by women in artisan groups from 11 countries around the world. To learn more about Threads Worldwide and to view our full inventory, I encourage you to visit our website. Learn about giveaways and other promotions by “liking” my Facebook page.
What Is Fair Trade?
Fair trade promotes fair wages, healthy working conditions, and a sustainable environment for employees and the planet. Fair trade does not pay a percentage of the sale, rather, the Artisans are paid UP FRONT for the work they do regardless of the sale. Not only do the Artisans have consistent work by working with our groups, they are also guaranteed to be paid fairly per the standard of living. By purchasing fair trade products, you are participating in a social movement that impacts the lives and communities of those who need it most. Learn more about fair trade here.
Who Are Our Artisans?
Products sold in the Threads Worldwide line come from 24 different artisan groups in 13 different countries: Bolivia, Cambodia, Colombia, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Guatemala, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Mexico, Nepal, and Peru —across four continents: Africa, Asia, and North & South America. Some of our artisans are women who have been ostracized from their villages because they are HIV positive. Some groups across Asia provide alternative income options to women rescued from being sex trafficked. Most of our artisans are mothers working to create a better life for their families. The group in Peru was started by three sisters who did not initially have the support of their husbands. Only after their business generated enough money to buy chickens which now support their husbands’ businesses did the men show encouragement.
Many artisans are mothers. These women now have the chance to earn income while caring for their children in their homes. It has been found that women reinvest 90% of their income back into their families, and we believe supporting fair trade and wages for women is the most efficient way to strengthen families, improve communities, and change the world.

Hi! My name is Amanda Sulyi and I’m a northerner who transplanted to the south. I lived in Ohio for 25 years, and then moved to Raleigh, NC where I have been for the last 16 years. I am married and the proud mom of almost 10 year old twins, and a 4 year old giant yellow lab.
I started this hobby of making jewelry as something to do while I watched sports on TV. I love watching sports of all kinds, it is a big part of my life. My shop name acutally comes from the nickname of one of my favorite athletes, who is a race car driver. I had made several pieces of jewelry for friends as gifts and they always had told me that I needed to sell what I made. In 2014, my New Year’s resolution was to start an Etsy shop. I followed through on that resolution and here I am. My work is ever evolving, when I get a new idea and go for it…..and I love the outcome.
I truly enjoy it when someone purchase one of my pieces as a gift for a friend or loved one. I believe handmade gifts are the best, because it comes from the heart and there is intention and thought behind such a special gift.
I hope you enjoy what you see…..if you are looking for something in particular, send me a convo and I’d be happy to make something just for you! 🙂
